To meet the needs of homeless individuals Nationwide & raise awareness of a much needed cause to assist those less fortunate than others, while encouraging everyone to do their part!

This vision will be achieved by traveling the country working hand in hand with teams of people in each state to provide food, clothing and other necessities to those who are homeless and in dire need of these supplies!

Different definitions of homelessness are used in different contexts. Generally, homelessness is defined as a person who "lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate night-time residence." In most cases, homelessness is a temporary circumstance -- not a permanent condition.

To meet the needs of homeless individuals WORLDWIDE and raise awareness of a much needed cause, to assist those less fortunate than others, while encouraging everyone to do their part! We have only just begun. So far The Homeless Tour has reached Atlanta, Kentucky, Texas, and New York... but we won't stop there.
Our goal is to see that no man, woman or child has to live homeless on the streets due to devastating circumstances, and that each individual is able to receive the personal attention necessary to overcome their homelessness. We achieve this by traveling the country working hand in hand with teams of volunteers and other organizations in each state to provide food, clothing and other necessities to those who are homeless and in dire need of these supplies!
We do so much more than just feed a hungry individual, we LOVE them! Many homeless people are hurting and have lost hope. We want to feed their souls as much as their stomachs. We partner with charities and organizations in each city so that each individual gets continued support even after we have moved on to the next tour location!
We also hold events & fundraisers in each city to keep the movement going and make sure each city and community is aware of the problem and how they can be a part of the solution!
It is our goal to build Transitional Housing Shelters in each state across the country that will provide temporary housing as well as programs to help individuals recover from homelessness and make progress on the road to becoming a successfully functioning member of society. Some of these programs will include drug & alcohol rehabilitation, interview & resume building workshops, financial classes, counseling, and other necessary courses. Once our shelters are established, we will continue to take the tour to the streets to reach people who otherwise would not be able to gain access to our services.

There is no way to measure how many people are homeless but in 2006 it was estimated that there were over 195,827 homeless veterans alone. A more appropriate measure of the magnitude of homelessness is the number of people who experience homelessness over time, not the number of homeless people. Still the numbers are unmeasurable & continue to grow each year.
The Feed the Homeless Tour team recognizes the problem & we plan to be the solution! We personally believe that IT IS POSSIBLE to END HOMELESSNESS to the point that no one who does not choose to be will have to sleep on a cold sidewalk! By providing basic needs, helping with rehabilitation, finding homes & jobs and simply encouraging everyone to do their part, we will accomplish our mission.
In our country there are a RECORD NUMBER OF MILLIONAIRES. There is NO REASON that in the richest country in the world there should be anyone without even $1 to their name. However there are small "third world countries" growing right in our own backyard. Part of the solution is unveiling the ignorance our society has toward HOMELESSNESS.
